Welcome to the new Reckless Records website!

This Blog was written to the sounds of..

From now on you will be able to buy Records, CDs, Reckless Merchandise and Gift Vouchers on the website. What we have for sale on the website will still be just a small portion of what we have for sale in the shop. Plus, we're more likely to have titles from the Dance side for sale on our Discogs account. I'm aiming to get new stock online throughout the week so there should be new fresh titles up most days. All stock will be available instore as well as online.

For those that can get into the shop you'll see that we have had a big shop refit. We felt that the shop layout wasn't really ideal in the current climate and some changes needed to be made. Its always been a bit a squeeze in there, especially when its busy. So we have shortened the racks leaving more space to pass by and keep some social distancing. We've also moved the counter to the front of the shop and added screens. The shop feels much bigger now, come and have a look!

We've got lots of people with collections to sell to us, so watch this space. We have already bought a few:

1) Massive Drum & Bass collection. All in smashing conditon. Klute, Andy C, Lemon D, Dillinja, Bad Company, Ed Rush, Photek, Ram Trilogy, Goldie etc.

2) Big Rock/Pop/Indie CD collection from a well known music journalist with a lot of classic titles! Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Antony & The Johnsons, Bjork, The Beatles, Neil Young, Cocteau Twins, The Shins, The Replacements etc.

3) Excellent Electro/Soul/Funk collection featuring a lot of rare US 12"s and LPs.

4) Indie Rock / Post Rock / Electronica vinyl collection featuring Tortoise, Frank Zappa, Papa M, Gorillaz, Tricky, The Fall, Amon Tobin, The Flaming Lips, The Cure etc.

As we have had a huge refit in the shop (we hope you like it!) you can imagine we have had a lot of sorting and organising. We have a huge backlog of stock to be priced (including some very rare and sought after titles).

So keep checking in either instore or online!
