A lot to get through this time! Lets get started!
1) Absolutely massive brilliant Rock collection in East London. Vinyl and CD, including loads of great box sets. Classic Rock, but on the Psychedelic side! Thousands of titles; The Who, Kaleidoscope, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Zombies, Small Faces, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Genesis, XTC, Grateful Dead, Fairport Convention, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, The Idle Race, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Blue Cheer, The Move, Rush, Sandy Denny, John Prine, Black Sabbath, Yardbirds, Electric Light Orchestra, Cream, David Bowie, King Crimson, Yes... Some of the best bits were some really nice CD box sets including the Nuggets sets, The Beatles vinyl box sets (including the Mono Box), loads of great Japanese CDs, lovely original copy of The Who "Sell Out" etc. A nice box of Who picture sleeve singles too.
2) Awesome Jazz / Improv CD collection in North London. Roughly 1000 CDs (maybe more). Loads of ECM titles, as well as titles from Sun Ra, John Surman, AMM, Mike Westbrook, Derek Bailey, Art Ensemble Of Chicago, Pharoah Sanders, Michael Garrick, Archie Shepp, Don Cherry, Miles Davis, Peter Brotzmann, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Dizzy Reece, David S Ware, Arve Henriksen, Joe Harriott, Neil Ardley, Joshua Abrams etc.
3) Amazing collection from down in Beckenham in one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen! A very interesting collection which included some very clean Beatles originals (the chap worked for Nems), some very clean Japanese Fusion LPs (including collectable titles from Cassiopia), original Elvis LPs (the big ones) and 78s, nice original Jazz LPs from John Coltrane, some Jazz Fusion and Jazz Funk from Boy Katenig, Dave Valentin etc.
4) I went out to a great collection on the outskirts of Ashford and bought a killer 90s Rap and RNB collection. Lovely chap, lovely collection. Loads of killer records from A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan, Gang Starr, Aaliyah, Geto Boys, Pete Rock, Beastie Boys, Jay Z, Lords Of The Underground, Cypress Hill, Nas, Ghostface Killah, The Notorious BIG, Main Source, Genius/GZA, Snoop Dogg, Blackstreet, Grandmaster Flash, Eminem, Jungle Brothers, Showbiz and AG, Gravediggaz, Ol Dirty Bastard, Missy Elliott etc.
5) Another collection down South, this time in Cheriton. It's not everyday Graham Lambkin messages you saying he's in town and wants to sell a load of records so I was pretty buzzing. As to be expected his collection (I only bought part of it) was absolutely brilliant. Titles from The Fall, Carcass, Sun City Girls, Harry Pussy, Neil Young, The Dead C, Fairport Convention, Napalm Death, Sonic Youth, Swans, Dinosaur JR, Magma, Sex Pistols, Borbetomagus, The Shadow Ring, Whitehouse etc.
6) Further West, I went out to Bexhill-On-Sea to buy a very interesting Jazz and Latin collection. It was a lovely sunny day and a lovely host. Quite a few Brazilian records, and a rare Derek Bailey LP made it well worth it.
7) A regular customer brought in two huge bags of killer Garage Revival and snotty Pop Punk 7"s (loads of Lookout! 45s!!). Titles from New Bomb Turks, Screeching Weasel, Boris The Sprinkler, J Church, The Vindictives, Go Sailor, The Briefs, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Snuff etc.
8) We bought a massive stack of Indie Rock LPs (a very large portion of which were signed). Just over 1000 LPs, and a hell of a lot of singles. Titles from Stereolab, PJ Harvey, My Bloody Valentine, Elliott Smith, Lush, Dinosaur JR, The Lemonheads, Teenage Fanclub, Sonic Youth, Fontaines DC, The Tubs, Mogwai, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Ride, Slowdive, Super Furry Animals, Oasis, Blur, Supergrass, Chapterhouse, Sugar, Slint, Rocket From The Crypt, Arctic Monkeys, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Yo La Tengo, Deftones, Interpol, The House Of Love, Dry Cleaning, New Order, Horsegirl, ST Vincent, The Sundays, Luna, Cavern Of Anti Matter, Broadcast, Manic Street Preachers, Godspeed You Black Emperor etc.
9) Scott and I were in London Fields last week buying one of the best dance collections we've bought for ages. 2500 + Hardcore, Rave, Jungle, Happy Hardcore, Old School, Drum and Bass, Breakbeat and UK Garage 12"s - all amazing. Jason was a regular at Labyrinth and did a lot of Pirates in the area. He was friends with a lot of the local shops and so managed to get first dibs on loads of the more obscure titles. 10) Nice small but classic collection bought out in Crouch End the other day - several hundred LPs - Art Pepper, Modern Lovers, Smiths, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, The Slits, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, New York Dolls, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Yes, Sex Pistols, The Specials, Television, Sonny Rollins, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley. Culture, U Roy, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie etc.
11) Amazing cassette collection of basically everything you would want on tape. Aphex Twin, Roni Size, Atheist, Beastie Boys, My Bloody Valentine, Pavement, Immolation, Anathema, The Replacements, Megadeth, Guided By Voices, At The Gates, Merauder, New Order, Codeine, The Prodigy, Daughters, Sonic Youth, Chavez, Tresor comps, Slowdive, Deicide, Coil, Jeff Mills, The Fall, Beck, Photek, American Football, Nirvana, Dinosaur JR, Alice In Chains, PJ Harvey, Black Flag, Goldie, Crowbar, Death Grips, Public Enemy, The Jesus Lizard, Pearl Jam, Swans, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground etc. Crazy to see a tape collection like this!!!
12) One guy has been bringing in a box of ECM CDs once a week - we've bought hundreds of them.
13) Absolutely storming collection from up in the Peaks. A lot of records (and a lot of CDs but more on them after the records). Late 80s - mid 2000's, heavy on the 90s, and mostly Dance and Indie. Pretty much all original copies and in really great shape too. 15) A few hundred Bollywood and Indian Classical cassettes.
16) One regular seller has brought in some killer records from The Cure, Crass, Subhumans, Dif Juz, Cabaret Voltaire, Spacemen 3, Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service etc.
17) Load of modern Indie Rock LPs from Throwing Muses, Tropical Fuck Storm, Black Lips, The Reds Pinks & Purples etc.

31) Tonne of UKG and 90s DNB - tatty as you like - from Roy Davis JR, Todd Edwards, Ed Rush, Sunship, MJ Cole, Bad Company, Ramsey & Fen, SL2, Liquid, Shanks & Bigfoot, Ram Trilogy etc.
32) Some random items from Thundercat, George Benson, Roy Budd, George Clinton plus some Latin and Japanese LPs.
33) Huge stack or rare Punk, Power Pop and New Wave 7"s from a seller from overseas.

38) Ben went to an absolutely brilliant collection (he'd bought the bulk of it several years ago but this was the special ones he'd held onto!). Big Prog, Psych and Folk rarities from Trees, Cressida, Fairport Convention, Dulcimer, Heron, Yes, Mr Fox, Aubrey Small, Velvet Opera, Dando Shaft, Caravan, McDonald & Giles, Fuchsia, Spirogyra, Soft Machine, Pink Floyd, The Pretty Things, King Crimson, Nick Drake, Hawkwind etc. It's been a little while since we had a decent collection in like this.
39) All has bought in several batches of quality library music LPs, including quite a few £100+ rarities. All the classics from Alan Hawkshaw, Nick Ingman, John Cameron etc. Titles on KPM, De Wolfe, Bruton etc.
40) A great stack of Bob Dylan rarities including lots of foreign picture sleeve LPs and 45s.
