A great deal of buying recently, lets get started

1) Kenny was out at a trio of collections over the last few days. Firstly one that was kindly passed to us from a friend was a great collection in South East London. The collection was roughly 1250 records and included a lot of Jazz, Disco, Post Punk, Pop, House, Indie etc. From a quick glance through one box there are titles from Lady Blackbird, Khruangbin, Shuggie Otis, Idles, Fontaines DC, Yussef Dayes, Floating Points, The Smile, Charles Bradley, Jai Paul, Gal Costa, Sven Wunder, Onehotrix Point Never, Pharoah Sanders, Suprise Chef, Sigur Ros, Madlib, The War On Drugs, Bonobo, Onra, Jungle, Motorhead, Fu Manchu, Aphex Twin, Love, Gigi Masin, Four Tet, Fred Again, Nu Guinea, De La Soul, Alfa Mist, M83, Lou Reed, LCD Soundsystem, The Poastal Service, The Cinematic Orchestra, Eddie Chacon, King Gizzard, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Shame, Arthur Verocai, Idris Muhammad, Pink Floyd, Caribou, Tangerine Dream, Ben Howard, Sault, Thievery Corporation, The Comet Is Coming, Danny Krivit, Mort Garson, Curtis Mayfield, Muse, Nils Frahm, Viagra Boys, David Bowie etc. Some great stuff and mostly very clean!

2) The next one for young Kenneth was 200 Soul/Funk/African records also in South. A few tote bags of absolutely class records. Titles from Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The Love Unlimited Orchestra, Donald Byrd, Change, Azymuth, Betty Wright etc.

3) The third collection was much closer, a stones throw away from the shop. This time was again around 200 LPs and included titles from Robyn, Liars, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Palace, Fever Ray, Sun Kil Moon, the Gummo Soundtrack etc. 

4) Several bags of classic DNB on labels like Suburban Base and Moving Shadow.

6) Huge box of Classical and Jazz LPs.

7) Ben sold in loads more Japanese titles from artists like Queen, The Police, David Sylvian, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Abba, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Kate Bush, Ennio Morricone, Beach Boys, The Zombies, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Prince etc.

8) Scott bought a great pile of classic Jungle including quite a few rare titles on Jungle Mania and Strictly Underground.

9) More modern Rock and Pop from one seller including titles from Doja Cat, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Pet Shop Boys, Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire, Souls Of Mischief, Kings Of Leon, Harry Styles etc.

10) More titles from another seller including a load of signed PIL and Fall stuff (as well as titles from Depeche Mode, Sex Pistols (Chris Thomas "Anarchy In The UK") Blur, Pink Floyd, Julian Cope, Can, Bjork, The Beat, Dexys Midnight Runners...

11) More decent DNB records this time Ram, Back 2 Basics, Tech Itch etc.

12) Interesting stack of Balearic/ECM/Latin LPs.

13) Classic LPs from Beyonce, Oasis, The Beatles etc.

14) More records! Mr Fingers, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Jones Girls etc.

15) Rock LPs from King Gizzard, Arctic Monkeys, Pink Floyd, Swans etc.

16) Some cool dance stuff from Mr Reynolds! DJ Krush, Luke Slater, Morgan Geist etc.

17) Classic proper LPs from Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam etc.

18) Static Shock Records restock.

19) Loads of 60s Psych and Garage comps on LP and CD.

20) Cool titles from Califone, Mariah, Yoko Ono etc. LPs.

21) Big AC/DC pile.

22) Cool titles from a very cool seller in Sandgate - Creation Rebel, Bjork, Gram Parsons, Sonic Youth, Bullion, Miles Davis, Bauhaus, Junior Delgado etc.

23) More great newish LPs from FKA Twigs, Nick Cave, Syd Barrett, Carla Del Forno, De La Soul, Robert Ashley, Eek A Mouse, Neil Young, HTRK etc.

24) Great pile of newer stuff from one seller including an original Frank Ocean "Blonde" as well as titles from Jesse Ware, Childish Gambino, Coldplay, J Cole, Gorillaz, Outkast, Slowthai etc.

25) Loads of Crass 45s.

26) I bought a nice collection of LPs, 45s and Cassettes including titles from Augustus Pablo, The Fall, Sun Ra, Velvet Underground, New Order, 13th Floor Elevators, Joy Division, The Beatles, Gregory Isaacs, Don Cherry, The Jam, The Clash, Siouxsie & The Banshees etc.

27) Nice 45s from The Downliners Sect, Beach Boys, The Beatles etc.

28) Some great Jazz LPs from Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Lennie Tristiano, Bud Powell, Jay Jay Johnson, Lee Konitz etc.

29) More nice LPs from Bob Dylan, Joe Henderson, The Buff Medways etc.

30) More DNB - Ramm, Metalheadz, Digital.

31) My pal who's been selling in all of the killer Noise/Industrial/Punk sold in another amazing batch of LPs including lots of Japanese pressings of classic Punk LPs (like Public Image, Killing Joke, Dome, Wire, Crass, Throbbing Gristle, Felt, Discharge, Sonic Youth..) as well as other biggies from The Dicks, Big Boys, The Residents (proper rare first pressing first LP), Toy Love, Severed Heads etc Plus more huge box sets including the LAFMS and Broken Flag sets.

32) Some excellent CDs from Led Zeppelin, Jellyfish, Ennio Morricone, U2, ACDC, David Bowie, Suede, Def Leppard, John Coltrane, My Bloody Valentine, Van Halen etc.

33) More Hardcore Punk LPs and 45s from a pal including loads of classic UKHC 45s (all Dead and Gone era), some Euro Thrash 45s and some classic 2000s Indie (Thom Yorke, Hundred Reasons etc).

34) I bought a tonne of absolutely belter Reggae/Ska/Rocksteady 45s. Included were some real rarities (however the condition was fairly rough). Every title was cleaned and play tested . The rare box has been getting topped up twice a week recently. Nice titles have gone in this week from Burning Spear, Ken Boothe, Alton Ellis, The Hippy Boys, Derrick Morgan, Lloyd Parks, Desmond Dekker, John Holt etc.

35) Big pile of Yabby You production new reissue 45s.

36) Decent tapes from Prince, The Jam, George Michael, The Verve, Billy Joel, Blondie, Rickie Lee Jones, Donald Fagen and a whole bunch of Now comps.

37) Big pile of Hardcore LPs (load of Dischord titles), some Rolling Stones and Sexton Ming.

38) Loads of Sun Ra titles from a regular seller.

39) Cool LPs from The Beatles, Sandy Denny, Beach Boys and The Kinks.

40) Modern pressings of Classic Rock artists: Glenn Hughes, Meatloaf, Bob Dylan, Suzi Quatro, Deep Purple etc.

41) Some Lovers Rock 45s plus LPs from 2Pac and Gravediggaz.
