Christmas is looming, the Xmas sections are out and we're steadily getting busier and busier! 

Loads of great titles have gone out recently..sections that have had a considerate bulk up have been:

We've had some great buying recently (and plenty more big buys on the horizon), lets have a look:

1) Scott has been twice (and is due to go again) to a chap in South London who is selling a massive Hip Hop / RNB / Soul collection. We've already bought thousands of titles - loads of original and reissue sealed LPs and 12"s. Some of the artists included are Wu Tang Clan, Pete Rock, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, UGK, Akon, Beyonce, Amerie, Aaliyah, Geto Boys, Kanye West, Gravediggaz, Ice Cube, NWA, Ghostface Killah, Nas, Mobb deep, Beastie Boys, Cassie, The Notorious BIG, Big L, Fat Joe, DITC, Diamond D, Camp Lo, Raekwon, Missy Elliott, GZA, Cardi B....we still have thousands to go out and they are selling like mad.

2) A friend of mine sold in a great selection of Ethnographic LPs, New Age cassettes, Japanese Blue Note LPs, Jazz CDs, Ethiopian cassettes and some South African Jazz LPs. All extremely nice.

3) More Rap LPs and 12"s from Freddie Foxx, Arsonists, Ugly Duckling, Common etc.

4) Complete mix from someone else - all vinyl - Santana (Japanese press), The Kinks, Rahzel, Chic, Pete Rock, Earth Wine & Fire, Marvin Gaye etc.

5) Big classic Rock and Pop collection including titles from Pink Floyd, Wings, Genesis, The Jam, Kate Bush, OMD, Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Eagles, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, King Crimson etc.

6) Several purchases from a new regular seller which included some great bits from Kendrick Lamaar, Wilco (big vinyl box set), Rolling Stones, Nico, Beastie Boys, Rory Gallagher, The Beatles, Wooden Shjips, Sun Ra, Belle & Sebastian, The Rapture, Goat, Lana Del Ray, The Pixies, Arcade Fire, ST Vincent, Afghan Whigs etc.

7) Jazz and Soul LPs from Reuben Wilson, Binker/Moses etc.

8) More vinyl from Yellow Days, ST Vincent, Sleater Kinney, Sam Fender etc.

9) Classic LPs from The Beatles, Grateful Dead, Kate Bush, Pretenders, Joni Mitchell etc.

10) Nice big stack of Soundtrack LPs including some classics such as Mission Impossible.

11) Cool CD collection which included nice box sets from Henry Cow and Max Richter and other titles from Depeche Mode, Deafhaven, William Burroughs, Van Morrison etc.

12) Several drop offs from another regular seller which included LPs from The Feelies, Jobriath, Dexys Midnight Runners, Dire Straits, Bob Stanley comps, Joy Division, Japan, Ghostbox titles, The Clash, Millions Like Us mod box, Soul Jazz LPs,  Robert Wyatt etc.

13) More great vinyl from Cat Power, The Hollies, David Crosby, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan etc.

14) Load of modern titles including LPs from Tyler The Creator, Taylor Swift, Eryka Badu, Kendrick Lamaar, The Notorious BIG, Jay Z etc.

15) Some cool Rap CDs from Wu Tang Clan, Eric B, Ghostface and Jay Z.

16) Massive Rock and Pop pile with titles from John Lennon, George Michael, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Talk Talk, The Clash, Caravan, Teardrop Explodes...

17) More vinyl from The Rolling Stones (Oz issue!), Lana Del Ray, R.E.M. etc.

18) Some modern House / Techno / Breakbeat from Dust e1, Ruffhouse, Upsammy, Nail etc.

19) Wicked pile of great LPs including a heavy Grateful Dead box set, more GD LPs, Sleep, The Maccabees, Acid Mothers Temple, Beach Boys...all in great nick.

20) Killer Indie and Rock LPs including loads of LPs from The Hellacopters! Plus titles from My Morning Jacket, Oasis, Beastie Boys, Bardo Pond, The Stone Roses, Rollins Band etc.

21) More vinyl from Elton John (a few modern rarities, The Beatles, The Chemical Brothers, The Streets etc.

22) Loads of cool and rare Jazz LPs, White Stripes promo LP, The Honeybus and tonnes of Smiths LPs and rare 12"s.

23) More classic vinyl from Uriah Heep, T Rex, The Byrds, Jethro Tull, Bert Jansch, The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane etc.

24) Loads more LPs from Bill Evans, Fairport Convention, Sex Pistols, Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Traffic, Julian Cope, David Bowie, Os Mutantes, Frank Sinatra, Jah Thomas, Magnetic Fields, Trees, Lee Scratch Perry, Black Flag, Sarcofago, Black Sabbath etc

25) David Bowie finished Test Press of his first LP from a lady that used to work at Deram. Plus a Stones 45 on Deram!
