HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM RECKLESS!!

Hope you all have a great New Years Eve tonight, I certainly will. It’s been a bit of a funny year for record shops this year. Loads of new ones opening – and the spread of more record shops in regional areas is certainly hugely positive if you are into records like me. The reissue machine has gone into overdrive which at times has been a bit much but each to their own. Its been a really good year for new music too – so many good new albums out!

This week we bought in a huge pile of Oasis LPs, 12″s and 7″s. This included a lot of rarities and promos as well as standard releases. Its rare that Oasis records get sold in as everybody wants them!! Reckless can be seen on the cover of “Whats The Story (Morning Glory)” too. These will sell super quick.

If you fancy some Space Jazz Jams then we just got a load of Sun Ra white label test pressings.

New Years is a time for Anarchy and we were just sold in a huge bag of Crass label LPs so we have the tunes for it.

This weeks Top Ten is a little bit different. I asked Pete Dev/Null – DJ, Record label boss and Blogger as I have always liked his blog and he seemed to have really interesting taste (from super obscure Jungle to Death Metal). I got to meet Pete when he was over this year and he is a gent. I highly recommend his blog (http://blogtotheoldskool.com).
