And just because it bumps, all day, everyday…

Also in this week is a selection of Hip Hop cassette tapes. There’s something incredibly enjoyable about playing tapes from a nostalgic perspective, we already busted out some of these on this original Walkman in the shop and it felt good to hear that familiar hiss over everything. Many mix-tapes will follow…

Our Reggae 7″ wall has some new additions: Pupa Freddie Zoo Party original Studio 1 Dancehall, Burning Spear Zion Higher original ’75 Studio 1 Roots, Pat Kelly How Long Will It Take original ’69 Pama, Lizard Catta I/ I And Eye UK Roots press

We have a newly situated 7 inch rack installed in the shop, it features loads of interesting nuggets from a recently aquired collection that’s been going out steadily for a couple of weeks. Featured below are some videos of a quick flip through the 4AD/Shoegaze, Punk and Hip Hop/Beatziziz sections.

As ever, we have a fantastic selection of classic Rock, Indie, Punk, Metal and World amongst others. The walls are looking delightful as usual, full of lots of interesting selections by our staff for you to have a gander at. We’ve recently put out a lot of contemporary Indie and newer releases that we tend not to get in such bulk so it’s been nice to see the racks filled with so many brilliant albums. All that is out there, along with some rarer and interesting items, plus our usual wide range of bargains and reissues.

Below is a quick flip through some of our New Arrivals. Plus! A 2009 reissue of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? which we probably get asked if we have in stock at least once a week. Also some other nice bits, come in an take a peep will ya?

We always have a wide selection of brand new and sealed reissues from a variety of genres. They’re all very reasonably priced from just £10 for some classic albums to £30 for some tasty editions.

All the tracks featured on this week’s blog can be found as a playlist here. Plus, each week I’m going to feature a seperate playlist of things that have been making me and other members of staff weak at the knees this week.

Here’s mine to start….

We out!
